Home Safety Stories

I have spent a lot of time speaking about home security with many homeowners. I am attempting to acquire some insight on different ways our homes become at risk. One of the questions I asked them was if they had ever experienced suspicious actions at their home. A robbery, broken windows, a suspicious individual – anything. Almost every single person had a story for me. Many of the stories would lead them to get a burglar alarm. I have been told that Home Security KS is one of the best options.

One gentleman informed me that he had been home for the afternoon, but then left to pick his little boy up from football practice. When they returned about 10 minutes later, one of his windows was broken and a few things were missing inside. He thought he had been watched, and that the thief knew when he left. A different mother of three said that she once answered the door to a man who claimed to be a salesperson. After the man pitched his sale, he asked if he could come inside to talk it over with her. She said no thanks, and the man replied by asking if he could still come inside to use her phone. Because the man was being persistent, she again declined and shut the door in his face.

All of us have had encounters with suspicious situations and people. Some experiences are worse than others, like that of the first man. The information I am trying to figure out helps me determine what encourages people to purchase a home alarm system. The woman said she chose to get one the next day.

I have learned about many identical stories from other families. You never truly know what is going to happen on a certain day. I am positive that these two people did not wake up thinking something out of the ordinary would happen later that day. It definitely stresses the importance of always being proactive.
